Σεμινάριο στο CliqueArt για ηθοποιούς, χορευτές, περφόρμερς

Ο Sam Alty και η Αλεξάνδρα Καζάζου συνεργάστηκαν ως εκπαιδευτές για πρώτη φορά στα καλοκαιρινά σεμινάρια του Studıo Matejka υπό την αιγίδα του Ινστιτούτου Γκροτόφσκι. Έκτοτε συνεργάζονται σε διάφορα project ανα τον κόσμο.
Τον Ιανουάριο του 2017 συνεργάστηκαν στην δημιουργία της παράστασης Medea Bellegi που έκανε πρεμιέρα στην Σμύρνη .Όπου η Αλεξάνδρα υπέγραψε την σκηνοθεσία και ο Sam την μουσική δραματουργία της παράστασης.Αυτήν την φορά , στην Αθήνα θα εισηγηθούν το σεμινάριο με τίτλο » The Radiant Performer- Musicis Corpus».

Στόχος του σεμιναρίου είναι , μέσα από την δουλειά στην ακρίβεια ,την ανατομική προσέγγιση των ορίων του σώματος και των ηχητικών του δοχείων,να απογυμνωθεί κάθε είδους αισθητική γλώσσα .Το σεμινάριο αυτό στοχεύει στην επανένωση της σωματικότητας του παλλόμενου περφόρμερ, της μουσικότητας του σώματος και την σωματικότητα του ήχου.
Έτσι όπως αυτή αναδεικνύεται μέσα από την ενέργεια του συνόλου.( Ensemble Energie)

Θα γίνει εισήγηση :

1. Στην καλλιέργεια της συνειδητοποίησης των μελών του σώματος και των δοχείων του καθώς και στις εκφραστικές του δυνατότητες.

2. Στην ενδυνάμωση των αναπνευστικών δοχείων

3. Στην σωματοποίηση του ήχου-κειμένου-τραγουδιού και στην δημιουργία σωματικών δράσεων

4. Στην μελλοποίηση του σώματος .

5.Στις ρυθμικές παρτιτούρες του σώματος και της φωνής .

6.Στην εναρμόνηση του οριζόντιου με τον κάθετο άξονα του σώματος και της φωνής.

7.Στην εμβάθυνση της τεχνικής συντονισμού ( Coordination )

Οι συμμετέχοντες πρέπει να γνωρίζουν ένα τραγούδι που θέλουν να εξερευνήσουν, ένα κείμενο, ή  να έχουν μία φωτογραφία είτε πίνακα ζωγραφικής , ως έμπνευση δουλειάς.

Το σεμινάριο απευθύνεται σε ηθοποιούς ,χορευτές , περφορμερς και σε σπουδαστές δραματικών σχολών.Η επιλογή των συμμετεχόντων θα γίνει βάσει βιογραφικού σημειώματος.

Sam Alty and Alexandra Kazazoy, instructors at Studio Matejka’s under the auspices of the Grotowski Institute, are coming to Brussels to lead a seminar entitled ‘The Radiant Performer-Musicis Corpus.’

The seminar is open to actors, dancers, performers and drama students.

Since their first collaboration as instructors at Studio Matejka’s summer seminars under the auspices of the Grotowski Institute, Sam Alty and Alexandra Kazazou have worked on various projects around the world. As recently as January 2017, they participated in the creation of the Medea Bellegi, which premiered in Izmir, with Alexandra directing and Sam creating the musical dramaturgy.

In Brussels, they will lead a seminar entitled ‘The Radiant Performer-Musicis Corpus.’ By working in detail on the anatomical approach to the limits of the body and its sound organs and by stripping away every kind of aesthetic language, the seminar aims to reunify the musicality of the body, and the corporeality of sound with the physicality of the vibrant performer.
This approach emerges through the energy of the whole (Ensemble Energie) and the participants will explore certain themes.

1. The cultivation of an awareness of the body and its sound organs as well as its expressive capabilities.
2. The empowerment of the respiratory organs.
3. The physical embodiment of the sound-text-song and creation of bodily actions.
4. The melody inherent in the body.
5. Τhe rhythm and songs of the body and voice.
6. The harmonisation of the horizontal and vertical axis of body and voice.
7. The strengthening of artistic co-ordination.
Particpants must bring a song, a text, photograph, or painting as these will be used as inspiration for the work during the seminar.
The seminar is open to actors, dancers, performers and drama students and selection will be based on participants’ C.V.

Participants must choose a song that they wish to explore, a book/novel/piece and a painting or a photograph, as an inspiration to work on.

BIOS

ALEXANDRA KAZAZOU

She was born in Wroclaw, Poland. She is half Greek, half Polish Studied acting in the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki. She worked as an actor in the North National Theater and co-founded the team “Asypka”, a theatrical group based in Athens. She first encountered physical theatre in a workshop with Teatr Piesn Kozla during her studies and in 2009 she went to Wroclaw, Poland to do the MA in acting with Piesn Kozla in collaborati​on with M.M.U.

She becomes a member of Studio Matejka in the Grotowski Institute, member of the Odra Ensemble in collaboration withTeatr Piesn Kozla and member of Jubilo Project in Wroclaw. Her main interest of research is focusing in the chorus function of greek tragedy and how it is connected with the every day chorus of life and the ensemble work. A big inspiration and a life experience was her expedition in Cuba towards the Guandanamo base. She has a degree in Astanga Yoga and also is teaching Achient Greek tragedy at the University of Wroclaw (ISKIO), Mediteranian studies from 2010.

In 2014-15, she works as a director and actor in several Grotowski Institute productions and travels around the world for seminars on physical theater and Studio Matejka’s techniques.

Academic year 2016-17 finds her teaching in the National Theatre of Greece acting school and rehearsing for Euripides «Medea» that will be staged in Epidaurus” ancient theatre.

SAM ALTY

Samuel Alty is an experienced teacher, actor-musician and international performer. He´s danced at the Royal Opera House, toured with Giffords Circus, performed with members of the Song of the Goat company, Studio Matejka and has just released his own solo album. He has developed his own working methodology that incorporates techniques adapted from theatre, meditation, martial arts, and his experience in song-writing and performing.
