On February 15th, King as Slave brought their debut album, Gold, to life at Pilar, delivering a night filled with music, striking visuals, and powerful performances.

The evening was opened and closed by Manolis Vlachogiannis, who set the perfect mood with a carefully curated DJ set, warming up the audience at the start and wrapping up the night on a high note.

When King as Slave took the stage, Panos Gourgiotis (vocals, keyboards, guitar) and Pavlos Monastiriotis (drums) delivered an intense and emotive performance. Their blend of atmospheric electronic soundscapes with electrifying bursts of energy gave the show a unique character, while the stunning visuals further enhanced the audience’s experience.

The crowd responded enthusiastically, embracing both the band’s new material and the live renditions of the album’s tracks. Special highlights of the night included the guest performance by Giouli, whose presence and vocals added a fresh dimension to the live set, as well as the contributions of Despina Kornilaki (cello) and Ina Söderlund (violin), whose string arrangements brought an immersive depth to the band’s sound.

Gold is now available on digital platforms. King as Slave continue their journey, with more live shows to be announced soon.
